The Providence Garden for Rehab
The Providence Garden for Rehab (PGR), adhering to the motto “Individual Caring, Overall Concern” of the Welfare Council, provides innovative and diversified services for about 1,000 ex-mentally ill persons and mentally handicapped persons since 2006. It aims at enhancing their living standard and achieving the integration of these persons into community life.
PGR is the largest comprehensive rehabilitation services complex in Hong Kong with 13-storeys in height. There is about 400 staff from multidiscipline, including clinical psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, art therapist, social workers etc. They work hand in hand to excel their professional knowledge and skills to provide quality services and living for members and their families.

PGR is based on the concept of holistic rehabilitation and advocates body-mind-spiritual development. It combines Chinese herbalist life-nurturing concept and creative art expression as an integrated service delivery model in order to bring enjoyable and healthy life for members.
