Training and hostel services are provided for people with intellectual disability to help them lead an independent life with dignity. The service focuses on developing users' potential and community integration.

Operating hours

  • Hostel service, Extend Care Programme and Residential Respite Service: 24 hours
  • Day Activity Centre: 9:00am-3:30pm
Service users
  • Moderately /severely mentally handicapped persons who are aged 15 or above; not bed-ridden or requiring infirmary care; without severe aggressive behaviour endangering self and others; and without infectious disease
  • Moderately /severely mentally handicapped persons who are aged 15 or above
  • 50 years old or above and receiving DAC&H service
  • Moderately /severely mentally handicapped persons who are aged 15 or above
  • Day training and Residential Service  
  • Extended Care Programme
  • Residential Respite Service( Casual Vacancy Place)
  • For DAC cum Hostel service, referrals can be made by social workers to the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services of the Social Welfare Department
  • For Residential Respite Service, application can be made by parents/carers themselves directly or via social workers of medical social services units, integrated family services centres, special schools or rehabilitation service units to the homes or hostels operating the residential respite service.
