SKH Bodies Collaborations Volunteer Service

Volunteer Service

Service Overview

Volunteer service

The Welfare Council values volunteers as an important asset to the organization and is committed to cultivating volunteer talent. By promoting volunteerism and connecting external communities to engage in volunteer work, we aim to deliver diverse social services to various groups. Through collaboration among parishes, schools and social services, we provide opportunities for church members, teachers and students of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui to engage in volunteer work. This fosters a caring and supportive network that embodies the sacred wholeness in the spirit of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, wherein we are many yet one body, bearing one another's burdens in love and faith, and seeking not to be served but to serve.

Our service targets include children, youth, elderly, persons in mental recovery and persons with intellectual disabilities. Volunteer work includes caring visits, peer counseling, promotion and publicity, community guiding, filming and more.

Interested individuals can call 3614 0575 or email jytfu@skhwc.org.hk to contact Ms Jenny Fu (Service Director) for inquiries.
